Lesotho Council of NGOs will convene its 16th NGO Week and its 26th Annual General Meeting from November 30th to December 4th, 2015 at Lehakoe Recreational Centre.

NGO week is a platform where member NGO's gather to share and reflect on the progress and challenges facing development in the context of NGO operations. The theme for this year is
  • “Respect for human rights and rule of law for social justice”.


  • The first three days will feature workshops which will be run under different topics including but not limited to decentralisation, HIV and TB interventions, effects of climate change, the importance of civil society accountability, the challenges of fighting corruption in Lesotho and many more.

    There would also be forums at which various topics will be discussed ranging Solidarity Confinement as torture, Amplifying Community and Civil Society voices on constitutional and Political Reforms
  • “The Lesotho I want Campaign”
  • - Security etc.

    It is expected that the Prime Minister Dr Pakalitha Mosisili will officiate at this activity.

    A Press Conference will be held at 09h00 on Monday 30th November at Lehakoe Recreational Center for the media.
